How to save a word from a video

With captions on, click a subtitle word to look it up, then choose Save or Start learning.

1. Open a supported video and turn on English captions.
2. Confirm the VocTap extension is enabled for the site.
3. Click the word in the subtitle.
4. Read the definition, phonetics, and context.
5. Select Save or Start learning.

Common problems

• Captions are off — turn them on first.
• The extension is disabled for the site — re-enable it.
• The page needs a refresh after installing or updating VocTap.
